Genjutsu Focus
Prerequisite: You must be a 5th level Ninja before you can take levels in this class.
Hit Dice: 1d6
1st level:
Invoke Confidence. Starting at 1st level, your use of Genjutsu can instill you or your comrades with confidence. When you cast a Genjutsu on a hostile creature, you can choose to gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your intelligence modifier. If you cast a Genjutsu on a willing creature, you can choose to grant them a number of temporary hit points equal to your intelligence modifier.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to half your overall level (rounded down), and you regain all uses when you finish a short or long rest.
Combat Genjutsu. Starting at 1st level, if a creature would have advantage on a saving throw to resist a Genjutsu you cast because they are engaged in combat with you or or allies, they do not get advantage.
Additionally, if you cast a Genjutsu on a creature that allows them to repeat their saving throw when they take damage, they do not get to repeat the saving throw if you are the cause of that damage.
Genjutsu Techniques. Whenever you gain a level in this class, you learn two Genjutsu techniques of a rank available to you.
2nd Level:
Restrictive Genjutsu. At 2nd level, your Genjutsu becomes harder to escape. When a creature repeats a saving throw to end the effect of a Genjutsu that you cast on them they have disadvantage on the saving throw that they make to do so.
3rd Level:
Genjutsu Resistance. Starting at 3rd level, your study of Genjutsu has made you more resistant to its effects. You gain resistance to psychic damage, and you have advantage on saving throws to resist Genjutsu if you are aware that the Genjutsu is being cast.
4th Level:
Ability Score Improvement. When you reach 4th Level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two Ability Scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can’t increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.
Realism. Starting at 4th level, your Genjutsu seems especially real. Creatures have disadvantage on checks that they would make to discern your Genjutsu from reality.
5th Level:
Extended Genjutsu. At 5th level, whenever you cast a Genjutsu with a duration of 1 minute or longer but less than 24 hours, the duration of the Genjutsu becomes 24 hours.
