Barbarian: Path of the Primal Fist

by Nikos Konstans

A berserker that crushes the skulls of their enemies with their bare hands follows the Path of the Primal Fist. The rage of titans empowers the fists of these barbarian’s with primal energy. A barbarian that walks this path seeks glory in combat and thrives against mighty opponents. They tend to wear light clothing to allow for faster movement in combat, and many wear protection over their hands and forearms.

Tempered Fists

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your fists become infused with primal energy. When you roll damage for an unarmed attack, you roll a d6 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strike. Whenever you hit an object or structure with an unarmed attack, you deal double damage.

When you reach 10th level in this class, the die increases to a d8.

Titan’s Rage

Starting at 3rd level, your rage fills you with the power of titans. While raging, you add an additional die of damage whenever you deal damage with an unarmed strike, and your unarmed strikes are considered magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances and immunities.

Mighty Strikes

Beginning at 6th level, the magic enhancing your fists grows. When you successfully hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can choose to move the creature into an open space up to 10 feet away from you.

Revelry in Blood

At 10th level, the more blood you spill in battle, the stronger you become. When you damage a creature with a melee attack, you can choose to gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your barbarian level + your constitution modifier.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your constitution bonus (minimum of 1), and you regain all uses when you finish a long rest.

Fist of Desolation

At 14th level, you call upon the strength of a titan and strike your foe with a mighty blow. When you hit a creature with an unarmed attack while raging, you can choose to empower the attack dealing an additional 6d8 bludgeoning damage. You can use this feature once per turn.

You can use this feature twice and regain all uses when you finish a short or long rest.
